For those of you wondering why our travel posts have slowed down of late, it’s because we have been rather settled over the last few months. Aside from a few updates from a recent quick stop in Osaka and Kyoto (article coming) we have had our feet firmly on Taipei soil.
A number of months back we started our own Vegan Retreat here. During the peak summer months it has been all hands on deck with wonderful people coming to stay from all over; Korea, US, France and more. We have also been extremely busy with the launch of Moon Cheese – our vegan cheese business (article coming).
Winter has well and truly arrived in Taipei now, but as the mercury will unlikely drop below 12 degrees celcius, it’s still a pleasant stay for anyone that comes over.
Our Vegan AirBnB is in the Xinzhuang District of New Taipei City, away from the hustle in bustle and a quickly developing area, attracting new coffee shops and restaurants thanks to the new Airport MRT line, due to open next month. This makes our little slice of paradise a very convenient place to stay, with a direct link to and from the Airport and City.
Taipei is known as a very convenient city, and this area is no different, with convenience stores, cafe’s, supermarkets and vegetarian noodle shops all within easy walking distance.
Our apartment itself is large and open plan. Guests have access to their own private bathroom. We have breakfast and coffee to which you can just help yourself and we love sharing meals with our guests. Interaction isn’t compulsory and we are just as at home working quietly among ourselves. But if you’d like to see the inner workings of a vegan cheese startup; you’ll be getting an insiders view.
We also love showing guests around the vegan scene in Taipei or touring the night markets.
If you’d like to plan a trip to stay with us; you can check it out on AirBnB here:
